Who manages the day-to-day operations?

Liberty Transit is owned and operated by the City of Hinesville.  The system is governed by the Transit Steering Committee, which is comprised of the mayors of Hinesville, Flemington, and Walthourville.  Also serving on the committee are Hinesville’s City Manager, Assistant City Manager, Transit Director, and the Liberty County Planning Commission Executive Director. Together, we’re investing in new opportunities to serve, support and strengthen our communities.
